Joining groups (leaving one quite promptly, as it was obvious it was mainly for cuddling authors, and not for the ilks of yours truly), posting a little bit here, and a little bit there.

Several reviews under my belt, and I'm loving the format of BL a little bit more every day. 

It feels good to be here. I still wonder about many things, like why some people have a little green tag on their Avi, but I'm sure one of you will tell me. I'm still fighting against the reviews that were scrambled in the move, but slowly turning them pretty again. 

And tagging! Retagging so much. 

I'm not posting book stuff on Goodreads anymore (except links to whatever I've posted here) and it feels good. I still interact with friends there, only not in a book-way, just a friend-way. Also, the BL group there is awesome, so if you haven't checked that out, go right ahead. Lots of good tips and tricks. And a great way to find new friends.

About friends: it's interesting how I feel closer to people here. On GR I would hesitate, thinking a Follow Reviews would be all I could do, not actually friending someone I don't know. Here, that twisted choice is taken from me, and I love it. I either follow or I don't, end of story. This way I have found many, many more people here in a short few weeks than in the 2 whole years I was on GR.

This Goodreads havoc has given me time left for actually reading books.

Snuggling up with two cats in front of an open fire place and a sizzling hot iPad chock-full of good stories is NOT a bad way to pass the afternoon.
