This sweet, sweet book has totally owned me during my holiday. One of those books where the story stays with you during the day, and you feel blessed to have a possibility to read yet another chapter or six in the evening. I loved the storytelling, how the narrator, Bear, jumps back and forth in his timeline, effortlessly, bringing you with him, always getting the information you need at the moment when you need it. I have fallen in love with these characters, and was very sad to see the end, after well over 500 pages.Love is love, however it finds you. However you wriggle and try to avoid it, it just IS. And the Kid is a riot.A completely heartwarming, at times full of angst, but always a good read, in well-written sentences that speak of truth and honesty. And it really begs for more - I am so glad there is more to be had. It made my day to see that there is a sequel.Brilliant. Just brilliant.
