I don't know what happened here, but my review of Submit to Desire doesn't seem to exist. This needs to be rectified. This short story was delicious, absolutely delicious. Kingsley is, of course, kingsley-sized. What he does when taking on Charlotte as an apprentice is nothing short of brilliant. This kind of man can bring you to the edge of what you find comfortable, and then have you leap beyond, safely, but with your heart beating a tattoo in your throat. Sheer brilliance. Thank you, Ms Reisz, again. You make things pretty, even when they, at first glance, should only be scary. That's an interesting knack you have there. ***I was NOT asked to read this book by anyone, I paid for it with my own money, as I do for all the books I read, all the music I listen to and the movies I watch.
